Summary: | Abstract Economic policymaking in a social market economy aims for creating and distributing prosperity. Since 2002, this can be seen in elections and government programmes at the federal level, however, with very different emphasis. This S/C-coefficient shows the positioning of parties, their change, reaction to the economic development, the difference between election and government programmes, and finally, the compromise in government formation. |
