description Long a land of exile, Greece has (re)become a land of welcome. It is this dynamic that we wish to question in this article based on the work of Allain Glykos. We will first focus on the poetic and visual modalities favored by the author to reconstruct, over the course of two novels (Parle-moi de Manolis and Manolis de Vourla) and a graphic novel (Manolis), the migratory journey of his father, a young refugee from Asia Minor caught in the exodus. Glykos traces a journey representative of contemporary multicultural phenomena (migration, racism, exile, etc.) which should be compared with those of young people from migrations. Memory writing for oneself then opens with Glykos to writing for the other within the poetic collection Égéennes and the graphic novel Life Jackets. We will then see how, over the course of his novelistic, poetic and iconotextual writing, a human adventure on the banks of the Aegean takes shape in this son of a Micrasiate refugee.
