Summary:Retinal Artery Macroaneurysms as vascular retinal lesions are not uncommon. Varied variety of presentations and changing morphology during various stages of natural history may create confusion in diagnosis. Owing to great impact that these lesions may have on ones visual status the conceptual awareness to an ophthalmologist is of utmost importance. Although older age, female gender and history of hypertension are important clues, the posterior location of the lesion is probably the most consistent feature.
