Description
Summary:Modern engineering increasingly requires certain guidelines/procedures for faster, simpler and more efficient optimization of machine tool systems even in the design phase. Accordingly, the task of this paper has been defined, which is focused on the analysis of the impact of the machine housing construction on the thermal loads of the threaded spindle bearing. The focus of the work is on the bearing performed using an axial angular contact ball bearing of the ZKLF type from the German manufacturer Schaeffler. The result of this research gave a guideline to designers to optimize the thermal load of the bearing of the threaded spindle made using the mentioned type of bearing even in the design phase.
