| Summary: | La Nouvelle Revue du Travail asked three specialists in continuing professional training to discuss a series of questions linked to the individualization of training, the decline in collective negotiations and the future of training system. If certain differences in assessments are explained by the respective affliliations of our interlocutors, the analyses formulated go in the direction of an individualization of training wich would always be more influenced by an instrumentalization by employment and by the economy, and a decline in collective rights. But they also highlight certain ambiguities. Under the cover of a freedom of choice supposed to allow individuals to free themselves from the power of employers to be actors of their professional career, individualization weakens the collective protective guarantees form wich the benefited to emancipate themselves socially and aspire to professional changes. Liwise the individualization of training could help to ajust to the needsexpressed by individuals, but the organization and content of these are often strongly prescribed, wich harms their effectiveness. |
