Description
Summary:Here is presented for the first time the critical edition of the poem “Diário na Sombra,” once attributed to Álvaro de Campos. Significant textual divergences enhance its reading, positioning it as a unique piece in Fernando Pessoa’s oeuvre. In the “Introduction” to the Obra Completa de Álvaro de Campos, the editors discuss ten poems excluded despite appearing in other editions. One of these poems is “Diário na Sombra,” published over thirty years ago, without genetic apparatus. Cleonice Berardinelli attributes it to Álvaro de Campos, while Teresa Rita Lopes and others disagree.
