| Summary: | According to studies, a significant portion of the adult population experiences the fear of dental procedures, a visit to the dentist for them is the psycho-emotional stress. Provision of psychological comfort of the patient safety is an important part of dental treatment. The authors determined the effectiveness of the drug of Afobazol and a homeopathic remedy Adrenaline C30 to the correction of stress conditions on outpatient dental examination. A single application of Afobazol as stress-protective drug at a dose of 20 mg for 50 min before dental interventions is not recommended for correction of stress on the dental examination. Adrenaline C30 reduces the level of anxiety and level of catecholamines for all indicators and is recommended for use by dentists to correct stress in patients with high levels of situational anxiety. |
