| description | The department of Cesar, known for its
ideal climatic conditions for mango cultivation, has seen
a significant increase in this agricultural sector,
which has had a positive impact on its
local economy. The main objective of this analysis is to explore
in depth the relationship between mango production
and economic growth in the department
of Cesar during the period from 2007 to 2022. To do so, a mixed methodology combining quantitative and qualitative methods
was adopted . The quantitative phase included the use of statistical and econometric tools to analyze data on production, exports, income, and employment. In the qualitative phase, a thorough documentary review of government reports, academic studies, and other relevant sources was conducted. The results obtained show a positive relationship between increased mango production and economic growth in the department of Cesar, demonstrating that this crop has become a crucial source of income and well-being for the population. The conclusions highlight the importance of continuing to implement technological innovations and sustainable strategies to maintain and enhance this growth. In addition, future opportunities and challenges for the mango industry in Cesar are identified , offering recommendations to ensure continued and equitable development in the region. This analysis not only provides an accurate picture of the economic impact of mangoes but also highlights the importance of sustainable strategies to foster continued and equitable development. |
