Summary:A comprehensive review is conducted on the research in the emerging field of multi-missile collaborative projects internationally, with an outlook on the major technological directions for the future. Firstly, an overview of current major multi-missile collaborative projects abroad is provided, followed by an analysis of their development trajectories and intrinsic features. Finally, the key capabilities underpinning multi-missile collaborative engagement are explored across six aspects, alongside a look ahead at key technological directions that merit special focus in the future. The review indicates that multi-missile collaborative engagement has emerged as a new direction and focal point of competition in the development of missile weapon systems globally. Given the current state of intelligence, it remains challenging to ensure that multiple-missiles can meet the demands of future systematic combat operations. Building on the intelligence of individual missiles, enhancing inter-missile capabilities in network communication, cooperative detection and sensing, cooperative task planning, cooperative guidance and control, and cooperative simulation can offer innovative approaches for enhancing multi-missile collaborative engagement capabilities in future systemic confrontations.
