Summary:According to the high requirements on adhesion utilization control performance of SDA1 AC drive diesel locomotive, a scheme of adhesion utilization control based on speed radar was presented, principle and realization approach of which was introduced. Experiments and practical operating data showed that the scheme could make sufficient use of adhesion and improved the efficiency of adhesion utilization. The maximum adhesion coefficient of locomotive was 0.46, according with the requirements of the consumer completely.
