| Summary: | In recent years, school initiative budgeting in St. Petersburg has established itself as one of the best regional practices with significant potential for replication not only at the regional but also at the municipal level. The expansion of initiative budgeting to adolescents in St. Petersburg was based on the successful experience of implementing this practice for adult participants under the “Your Budget” project. The article includes an overview of methodological features of school initiative budgeting in St. Petersburg and an analysis of the effects achieved asa a result of its application and opportunities for further improvement. The study analyzes the results of the survey of project participants in 2024. It summarizes the most significant challenges and risks that arose in the course of the project implementation, and draws conclusions about promising directions for further development of the practice. |
