| Summary: | This scientific article presents the results of a study on the assessment of bioenergy resources of Turkmenistan, where we studied the energy potential of solid municipal waste, sewage sludge and substrates of farm animals. The results of the study showed that the energy obtained from solid municipal waste per 1 inhabitant in Turkmenistan is 2003400 MJ / year, from sewage sludge 794.45 MJ / year. The energy obtained from biogas per 1 Cattle is 38217.7 MJ / year, Chickens 783.9 MJ / year, Sheep 16462.5 MJ / year, and Horses 64021.91 MJ / year respectively. As a result of the data obtained, it can be said that for Turkmenistan, obtaining biogas from livestock farms and using the energy of sewage sludge is more relevant. Obtaining biogas is a more relevant and mature technology, but the use of energy from sewage sludge is not represented due to the lack of use of this technology. |
