Description
Summary:Critical thinking has as a fundamental exercise to create didactic and innovative minds, observing different perspectives and diverse fields. The objective was to describe creative strategies that enhance the development of critical thinking in tenth grade students of the circuit: 13D01C04-Portoviejo. The research has a mixed descriptive level approach for which the Watson-Glaser test was used, which evaluates critical thinking for students and an in-depth interview for teachers. The results reveal that those evaluated have borderline average performance in some dimensions and low performance in inference and assumption, revealing that they have difficulty recognizing and securing information to draw weighted conclusions from different daily situations. For their part, the professors denoted the daily use of managerial strategies that do not stimulate the development of critical thinking in students. It was concluded that the use of effective teaching strategies strengthens the creativity of students in the educational process.
