Summary:For the advantages of constant DC output voltage, lower power devices voltage stress, better AC sinusoidal current waveform and per unit power factor, three-phase three-level PWM rectifier has been widely used in many fields, such as medium-high AC motor driving system, power system and so on. In this paper, advanced technologies of the three-phase three-level PWM rectifier in the world are introduced on topologies, mathematical models and control methods, in which the neutral point balanced strategies of three-phase diode-clamped threelevel PWM rectifier are emphasized.
