Summary:Purpose of the article based on the analysis of informational and statistical sources, the article examines the main aspects of the acquisition collection of the V. I. Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine under adverse external factors. The methodology is based on the use of general scientific and special research methods, employing structural-functional and comparative statistical analysis. Scientific novelty. The study identifies the features development acquisition of collection under martial law, highlighting activities that contribute to the implementation of the state information policy regarding the updating of the library-information resources of the V. I. Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine. The level of national Ukrainian-language publications within the processed documents of the library for 2022-2023 has been investigated, and a comparative analysis with the previous period (2018-2020) has been conducted. Conclusions. The research of accounting documents and statistical reports regarding the receipt of documents into the library fund of the V. I. Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine during 2022-2023, along with a comparative analysis with data from the Ivan Fedorov State Chamber of Ukraine, which performs the functions of state bibliographic registration of alltypes of publications in Ukraine, revealed the impact of the state of publishing activities in the country under adverse external factors on the dynamics of document receipts to the library.
