description Wor kplace harassment has persisted as an issue that causes harm within the wor k environment and contributes to the emer gence of new risks, among which is Burnout, underst ood as the result of prolonged chronic stress that par ticularly affects service prof essions. In this study, a lit er ature review was conducted, focusing on ar ticles and regulations in Spanish published f rom 2007 onwar ds. The results first address wor kplace harassment, followed by a review of Burnout, then establish a relationship between the two, and finally identify the environments most affected by Burnout due to mobbing. From this, it is concluded that “mobbing” and Burnout ar e related despite being distinct phenomena, and both have negative consequences.
