Methods: a reflective essay based on the Sustainable Development Goals and the Decade of Healthy Ageing documents, guided by the concepts of nursing care pathways for older adults. Results: the reflection included 11 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals related to the four areas investigated and nursing care pathway: Older adults, Family, Nursing care, and Nursing research. Final Considerations: the nursing care pathway for older adults, as aligned with the principles of policies for sustainable and healthy aging, enables nurses to lead the process of ensuring a more dignified life for the older population. |
