description Based on the energy conservation law, it established differential equations of converter power, and revealed the relationship among DC bus voltage fluctuation, capacitance, given voltage of DC bus, output power and frequency of modulation wave. It proposed a method to restrain DC bus voltage fluctuation without increasing the cost of four-quadrant high voltage inverter, which was using SAPWM method and adding the 3rd harmonic to phase voltage modulation wave of the inverter. Prototyping test and simulation results verify the correctness of this method.
