Abstract
This paper provides an interpretative path based on semiotics and focused on “San Sebastiano with numbers and D & G boxer shorts”. Considering the (represented) body as a visual sign
and a text, the process of artification has been highlighted and connections between narration and narrativity, branding and social construction of meaning have been defined.
