description Having taken into consideration still remaining high rate of cerebral stroke in the Republic of Kazakhstan Ministry of Health developed the State anti-stroke programme for the period of 2016–2020 years. The regional brain stroke centre with 30 beds per 250.000 people has been working at the premises of The Hospital of Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) since July 2012. Main results of Aktobe stroke centre work are submitted in this article. There are some databases of the brain stroke innovative methods of treatment use, such as thrombolytic therapy, surgical and endovascular methods of treatment.
