Peters) and the tadpole characters </span><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">is given. Hyloscirtus vermiculatus B. Lutz & Ruiz-C. is regarded as a synonym. </span><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The taxonomic status of Hyla platydactyla is discussed and is concluded that </span><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">it might prove to be not separable from H. bogotensis.
