| Summary: | Since the beginning of the 21st century a new migratory control at the greek-turkish border has started. We explore the social and spatial changes that occur at the border in particular for the actors involved in the control. From a humanitarian and emergency situation to a security process, the migratory control became progressively a real obstacle for the migrants with a systematic detention and the non-compliance to their rights in Greece and in Europe. Through the control changes and especially the screening's procedures, this article tries to show how the institutionalisation of the control and detention places transforms the socio-spatial link between the actors and the migratory control. |
