| Summary: | The investigation research of effectiveness and possibilities of endodontic re-treatment of teeth with roots filled with resorcin-formalin pasts is conducted. The purpose of this work is the optimization of time for temporary obturation canals by using the Japanese medicine on the basis of iodoform and calcium hydroxide for the treatment of destructive forms of chronic periodontitis. 21 patients (23 teeth) with destructive forms of chronic periodontitis were examined and cured. Data about the quality of endodontic re-treatment of such teeth are specified, the results of re-treatment are traced. The results of x-ray analysis conducted from one to three years after treatment showed full or partial rehabilitation of chronically abscess area up to 69,6%. |
