| Summary: | The article is devoted to the genre of akathist in Russia in 19 century, namely to the “Akathist to St. Nephon”, known only in a single manuscript (RGB. F. 304. II. № 268). The author of the article on the basis of the comparative analysis of the “Akathist to St. Nephon” and different versions of the “Life of St. Nephon” demonstrates the proximity of the Akathist to the “Life of St. Nephon” in the edition by St. Dimitry of Rostov. This Life served as a source of the Akathist. The text of the “Akathist to St. Nephon” has been published for the first time. |
