| Summary: | The paper aimed to argue the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. It aims to highlight how the global community grappled with the realities of life during and after the pandemic and how it accelerated the socioeconomic trajectories locally and abroad. Despite these formidable challenges, the acceleration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and robust digital infrastructure to effect positive change cannot be underestimated. This paper therefore examined how human life can be enriched in a post-COVID world by applying sustainable development principles, specifically focusing on a human rights perspective. It explored the intricate relationships between technology, social justice, and economic growth, providing insights into how societies can navigate the complexities of the current landscape and work toward building a more equitable future for all, enhancing life after COVID-19 through intentional and inclusive policies. The methodology approach used was a qualitative pedagogy, which included, among other things, investigating literature from esteemed scholars, judicial precedents, Legal, and all other relevant reports locally and abroad. The study found that COVID-19 disrupted livelihoods. The authors recommend that authorities align policies to align recovery mechanisms post-COVID-19 with those of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to address issues such as monitoring the efficacy of these strategies and promoting resilience. The authors hope the paper will add to advancing human life discourses after COVID-19 through the intensification of ICT. |
