Description
Summary:Traumatic testicular dislocation is a rare complication following blunt abdominal trauma. In this report, we describe two cases of traumatic testicular dislocation following a high-energy motorcycle collision, along with a summary of all the published literature on traumatic testicular dislocation to date. Case one was a unilateral testicular dislocation, which was diagnosed 13 days after the injury, and immediate orchidopexy was performed. Case two was a bilateral testicular dislocation, which was discovered intraoperatively during exposure for pelvis fracture fixation, for which bilateral orchidopexy was performed. Both patients had an uneventful outcome. Clinical significance: Routine scrotal examination following blunt abdominal trauma is essential to identify this rare phenomenon of testicular dislocation and prevent irreversible damage.
