Summary:Background: Green logistics supply management aims to achieve the goal of greening the economy, which is a global issue and goal for all countries. This is also the basis for implementing green logistics development in Vietnam. Objective: The study aims to identify the critical factors influencing green logistics management and proposes policy recommendations for enhancing the application of green logistics in the supply chain and helping businesses increase competitiveness and sustainable development. Methodology: The authors employed quantitative survey in prominent cities, including Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai Province, Binh Duong Province, and Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province. The survey participants for data collection were managers of enterprises related to green logistics activities. The data collection strategy involves direct interviews via a structured questionnaire with a sample size of 800 managers. The data were analysed using SPSS version 20.0 and Amos software. Result: The study identifies eight critical factors influencing green logistics management at a significance level of 0.01 and eight accepted hypotheses. Technological advancements and innovations had the most substantial impact on green logistics management in Vietnam. Conclusion: The study offers policymakers and industry executives significant insights, emphasising the importance of prioritising technology, resource sustainability, and waste management while creating a supporting legislative and organisational framework to achieve comprehensive green logistics management. Unique Contribution: The study highlights the significant influence of technological advancements and innovations on green logistics management at enterprises in Vietnam. Key Recommendation: Technological advancements and innovations should be prioritized by providing fiscal incentives, such as tax credits, subsidies, or grants, to encourage investment in green technologies like electric vehicles, automated warehousing, and renewable energy systems.
