The Devald family was one of the more well-known families in Zemun and had a tradition of textile production. Brothers Anton and Nikola Devald founded the company "Brać a Devald" in 1918, later continuing with independent operations. The work presents data related to the establishment of the "Drina" knitting factory, owned by Anton Devald, and the "Dunav" knitting factory, owned by Nikola Devald, and their operations during the interwar period. |
