| Summary: | A series of benzothiazole derivatives containing α-trifluoromethyl tertiary alcohol and coumarin moiety were synthesized via the reaction of 2-methylbenzo[d]thiazole and 3-(trifluoroacetyl)coumarin with high yields under catalyst-free and green solvent. The structures of products were validated through 1H NMR, 13C NMR, HRMS and X-Ray analysis. Meanwhile, the inhibition activity against five common plant pathogenic fungi: Rhizoctonia solani, Fusarium moniliforme, Phytophthora parasitica, Fusarium graminearum and Fusarium oxysporum, was evaluated in vitro at 200 μg/mL. The results obtained from the bioassay signified that all products possessed significant antifungal effect against Rhizoctonia solani compared to other four fungi. |
