Description
Summary:The Society Ecosystems Theory reveals the importance of the influence of government departments, communities, schools, families, peers and other subjects on children, and can provide theoretical guidance and analytical frameworks for the explanation of children's learning behaviors and the construction of child friendly commuting pathways. Based on the review of the Society Ecosystems Theory, this paper optimizes the theoretical framework for the construction of child friendly commuting pathways and uses it to guide the practice of optimizing child friendly commuting pathways in the Xicheng community of Zhuhai. Four main strategies are adopted: to carry out the whole process of public participation with children as the core and parents as the linkage, so as to improve children's subjective initiative and parental participation; to carry out a series of traffic safety education activities with the community and school as the main body, so as to cultivate children's safety awareness; to take government departments as the leading role, to improve the physical environment of the pathway and to create an atmosphere of active access to the pathway; and to take the planner as the linkage to set up a platform for the communication of various system elements and to build consensus.
