description Based on the principle of cycloidal pin gear planetary transmission,a new type of coaxial single input and ipsilateral double output cycloid speed reducer is presented. The working principle of the reducer is discussed and the transmission structure is analyzed,with the transformation mechanism method,its transmission ratio formula is deduced. The motion response of the output shaft of the reducer and the stress change rule of the key parts are simulated by using ADAMS software. The transmission ratio which gets from the simulation is compared with the one of the theoretical calculation,which verifies the feasibility of the transmission principle of the reducer. The two output shaft of the reducer can realize the coaxial positive and negative output transmission and the transmission ratio can be designed independent,especially suitable for the double- screw coaxial transmission of mixer,aircrafts,ships and submarines.
