description Taking a spur planetary gear as example,the tooth root bending stress of internal gear set with reaming hole in rim is investigated.The finite element analysis model of internal gear is established by SolidWorks.The influence of reaming hole different positions,sizes in rim with load applied at the lowest point of single pair tooth contact on maximal tooth root bending stress and tooth stress distribution is analyzed by ANSYS.The conclusion that the hole center located in gear tooth symmetrical plane and the hole diameter is 2.2times of module is more appropriate is obtained.
