Description
Summary:The review describes two possible prototypes of so-called nature-like technologies of foundry production. For casting on ice patterns, mineral components are used in the manufacture of shell sand molds, and the pattern is removed from the mold by melting and naturally filtering its melt through a porous sand mixture of the mold that cures to the depth of filtration by hydration of the gypsum and cement mixed into the mixture. Also, the possibilities of constructing thin-walled castings similar to natural structures are described.
