| Summary: | The growing demand for rapeseed oil has led to an increase in cultivated areas and the improvement of rapeseed cultivation techniques. The article analyzed the main technical indicators related to area, total production and average production of rapeseed. A comparative analysis was also carried out for the mentioned indicators, in two distinct periods, delimiting the period before accession and after accession to the European Union. The averages of the two periods were compared, using the Student Test method, and the SPEC Forecast function estimated the area, production and average rapeseed production by 2030. The aim was to identify from a statistical point of view if the averages of the two periods are dependent, as well as to predict the evolution of the main technical indicators. |
