Description
Summary:The ambiguity of opinions about the effects of "small" doses of radiation is one of the key problems of modern radiobiology. Improvement of medical devices, new methods of diagnosis and treatment is accompanied by increased radiation burden on patients and staff. In this article we present the radiation-hygienic analysis of modern methods of radiation diagnostic procedures and radiation therapy, their dosimetric characteristics and the possible effects of low doses of ionizing radiation due to medical procedures.
