| Summary: | Abstract The study aims to identify factors of perception impacting on the entrepreneurial success. Several databases, including Web of Science, Emerald, Google scholar, JStor and Ebscohost, were utilized to gather the articles for the study. Keywords used in this study to identify from the journal databases are “Perception”, “Entrepreneurial Success” and “Entrepreneurship Development.” PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews) was used to further analyse the results and to present them in a timely manner. Various factors of perception were identified in the study that influence the entrepreneurial success, such as locus of control, motivation, innovativeness, risk behaviour, satisfaction, responsible entrepreneurship, gender discrimination, family perception, performance, overconfidence, passion, social, cognitive factors, inspiration, emotions, institutional support, experiences, personality traits, leadership, culture, competencies, deception, optimism, social skills, education and training, networking, resilience, financial capital, environment and other perceived factors. Students, upcoming entrepreneurs, researchers, policy makers and government will be benefitted from this study. Young entrepreneurs should consider these factors and thus they can come up with a proper business plan even with a less financial support. |
