Description
Summary:September 2015 saw the launch of information platform The Conversation France. For the first time, non-English-speaking researchers would be able to add their voices to the public debate through articles written in collaboration with journalists. As with anglophone platforms of the same nature, the French-language platform is run by a non-profit organization funded by postsecondary education and research institutions. The authors, who played an active role in this initiative, relate some of the highlights of their collaboration. Each will help the reader understand how the worlds of journalism are impacted by contact with other social worlds in terms of evolution, change, and innovation in response to the existential debates facing them today.
