description The degradation of the arganeraie is always the object of a debate relentless and lit by a considerable interest on behalf of the public, of the press and by the university circles. Several studies have been made to find explanations and solutions to this phenomenon. The majority of the results of this work suggest the negative consequences of goat farming on the argan ecosystem including the reduction of the surface is important and tends to accelerate and is no longer compensated spontaneously because the natural regeneration of argan no longer takes place and this because of several factors: urbanization; droughts; intensive and extensive crops under trees in the plains and plateaus (irrigated and rainfed), and most importantly, according to these studies, overgrazing by goat herders. In this study, we will not assess the validity of these results. However, our argument and the assumption that we choose is that the combination of overgrazing with other factors among which retain essentially the recent success of argan oil abroad will upset the ecological knowledge related to herd and conduct in the argan tree and cause them severe erosion, destabilizing secular equilibrium of the agrarian system that revolves around three productions: argan (argan), the barley crop (tomzine) and breeding small ruminants especially goats (taghate).
