The structure of the substituted cycloheptatrienyl-cyclononatetraenes 6 has been proved by NMR-spectroscopy as well as by valence-isomerisation to acetoxycycloheptatrienyl- and bromocycloheptatrienyl-cyclononatetraenes 7a and 7b respectively.
