Description
Summary:Big data and IOT help the organization formulate innovative strategies to enhance and improve the performance of the employees. The auxiliary conduct of an employee at the workplace that improves and enhances the effectiveness of an employee is popularly known as Citizenship Behavior. This paper focuses on the effect of demographic dimensions of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) on the faculty of the HEIs of North West India. A structured questionnaire was adopted by (Podsakoff. et. al. 2000) and was circulated online to gather data from 309 faculties of the HEIs of North West India. Cronbach Alpha indicates the reliability of the scale. Descriptive Analysis and Shapiro-Wilk tests were used to examine the Normality of the data. To realize the objectives of descriptive analysis, Levene’s test, Independent sample t-test, ANOVA single factor, and Post Hoc test were used. SPSS was used to analyze the data. The relationship between Big data and OCB also, demographic factors, and OCB is not significant. This demonstrates that to increase the OCB, HEIs need to focus on demographic factors like (age, marital status, and gender).
