description A grid-based routing protocol in wireless sensor networks was proposed on the basis of node location.The protocol uses grids to avoid the complicated clusterhead selection and cluster division algorithm, also restricts the routing flooding data packages in single grid.The analysis and simulation results show that the protocol has the advantages of high efficiency, low routing costs, short delay over the traditional LEACH routing protocols.
