Solid State Conformation of a Bioxirane Related to Hedamycin
The crystal structure of the substituted erythro-bioxirane 5 reveals that the solid state conformation of the carbon skeleton of this compound is very close to that of the related threo-bioxirane moiety in the antibiotic hedamycin (1).
