description It is difficult and costly to carry out fatigue life test for high-torque laminated couplings due to its large load. Therefore, the equivalent test piece is designed for high-torque laminated couplings to meet the requirements of universal coupling test equipment and reduce the test cost. The equivalent design principle of a laminated coupling is established, and a design method for equivalent test pieces of a high-torque laminated coupling is proposed based on equivalent symmetric cyclic stress. The accuracy and feasibility of the design method are verified by theoretical calculation and finite element simulation analysis.
