Summary:The teaching profession is an important social role, which is also highly susceptible to stress. Increased responsibility, high mental workload, irregular working hours, and poor health can represent some factors in the development of anxiety disorders, which negatively affect the overall quality of a person’s life and the quality of professional activity. This requires finding ways to increase the psychophysical resistance of teachers to everyday stress in and outside the workplace. The given article discusses anxiety disorders as a common phenomenon among school teachers. There are presented the results of the conducted research on the degree of anxiety among teachers.
