| Summary: | To obtain hybrids resistant to root-knot nematodes of tomato, breeding line "5678161" carrying Mi-1 gene sensitive to temperature was used as the female parent and wild tomato "LA2823" carrying Mi-3 gene insensitive to temperature was used as the male parent. Ten hybrid lines were obtained by embryo rescuing method. Its realities were identified by sequence-related amplified polymorphism (SRAP) method. Ten plants with Mi-1 gene and one plant both with Mi-1 gene and Mi-3 gene were selected out by using primers specific to Mi-1 gene and Mi-3 gene. |
