description Based on the requirement of industrialized efficient agriculture, a microcomputer measuring-controlling system was developed. The system consists of a master controller and some measuring-controlling instruments, which located in greenhouse, and they are connected with RS-422A serial bus. The instrument, which controlled by 89C52 single-chip microcomputer, measures the environmental parameters of greenhouse, such as temperature, humidity, light intensity and CO<sub>2</sub> density. The master controller realizes data communication, save, display, database operation and expert decision-making. The system is distinguished by its simple structure, high reliability, easy expansibility and good performance of anti-interference.
