Summary:The paper gives data on a training system for specialists in anesthesiology and reanimatology in Norway and Canada. Their training in these countries is a long-term (7—8-year), well-planned, and strictly controlled process that provides high-level specialists. The Russia system for training the specialists in anesthesiology and reanimatology should be reconsidered, by taking into account the European experience.
