Summary:Based on the comparative analysis of acceleration method and electric power method in traction characteristic curve test, a new method combining acceleration method and electric power method was proposed to measure traction characteristic curve of urban rail transit vehicles, that is, acceleration method was adopted in constant torque area, and improved electric power method was adopted in constant power area and natural characteristic area. The test showed this method combine the advantages of acceleration method and electric power method, and could effectively improve the test accuracy.
