| Summary: | Este artículo tiene como objetivo reflexionar sobre las posibles influencias recibidas por el proyecto de fundación de las Nuevas Poblaciones de Sierra Morena, creadas en 1767 por Carlos III (1759-1788), prestando atención a la posible huella que un texto como Sinapia o de forma indirecta y puntual, Utopía de Tomás Moro, pudieron haber dejado en su génesis. Al mismo tiempo, analizaremos cómo este proyecto pudo ejercer su influencia, a su vez, sobre otro texto utópico, El Evangelio en Triunfo, de Pablo de Olavide, editado a finales del siglo XVIII.

This article aims to reflect the possible influences received by the project of foundation of the Nuevas Poblaciones of Sierra Morena, established by Charles III (1759-1788) in 1767, paying attention to the possible traces that some writings as Sinapia or in an indirect way, Utopia, by Thomas More, could have left in its genesis. At the same time, I shall analyse how this project could influence, in his turn, another utopian writing, El Evangelio en Triunfo, by Pablo de Olavide, edited at the end of the 18th century.
