Description
Summary:Variable pitch motors are considered key electrical components for the safe operation of wind turbines. Traditional motor selection methods often only rely on rated torque for selection, ignoring the matching relationship between torque and speed in the load, which may lead to unreasonable selection, thereby increasing costs. Therefore, this paper introduces a method for selecting and verifying variable pitch motors based on Bladed simulation analysis. Following data processing and analysis focusing on load simulation timing files of wind turbine generator systems, selection and verification software for variable pitch motors was designed and implemented. The software was then used for motor selection and design verification of the H3J0J00P01 model, verifying the applicability of the selected permanent magnet synchronous motor model under different conditions. The research results indicate that the proposed approach can make the motor performance more in line with the ultimate performance requirements of the variable pitch motor in actual wind turbine simulation, which is beneficial in reducing the costs of pitch motors, leading to more economically efficient wind turbines. This provides a theoretical basis and practical support for the selection and design of variable pitch motors for wind turbines.
